There's one group who love books and I'll talk about them first. I don't feel that the cover artists of the Warhammer novels get enough credit, so I just wanted to say, Neil Roberts on Twitter) is FANTASTIC, his art truly captures each and every novel, and this one is no different. The fight that follows is immense and it's so easy to picture it in your mind, to see what the characters are seeing, to smell what they smell, feel the pain they're receiving and inflicting. One of my favourite scenes in the book was onboard the Eisenstein, as they enter the warp and strange things happen. Whether it be in a room on the Endurance, or in the giant floating spaceship world of the Xenos.Īgain, a hugely action packed read, as I definitely expect of these books, and I was not disappointed. I liked the introduction of certain new characters as well as new factions within the Heresy world, the Sisters of Silence for example.Įach place the warriors visit is presented so well to the reader that you really do feel like you're there. Such a great book, the character depth, plot and descriptions were really brilliant.
